Oh how exciting! I've adored the dark snippets you've been sharing lately in your newsletter. I know I'm going to love Fireside Magic too. I'd love to be an ARC reader if you are still looking for some.
So sorry I never got back to you! We've been on the road. But I received my ARC through this email just fine. Thank you again for the opportunity, I can't wait to read it.
Congrats Kate! So excited to read this one. Your writing is transportive and a darker book seems like the perfect thing for this winter's contrasting time of darkness and joy.
Thank you Kerani! You're right, winter is a season of contrast...the twinkling lights and fireside flames bringing warmth to those cold, brooding nights 🖤
Kate, this is wonderful news! And the blurb is gorgeous. (We need a better word for "blurb" - that's not a pretty sound! Any Gaelic words or a translation of the Gaelic that would fit your book better? Something eerie and beautiful and scary.) I'm dithering a bit about asking to go on your ARC list. I'll be getting myself a copy of your book anyway, one way or another, but which way is most helpful to you? Buying a copy and leaving a review (then Amazon has it as "verified purchase" which might give it a bit more weight, plus you get some payment) or doing an advanced review? Contact me e.g. via Instagram if you would like me on your ARC list, otherwise I'll pre-order.
I feel at this early stage in my author journey reviews are gold dust, as they help readers decide if my book is for them. I'd like to have as many as possible for the launch day, which is why I'm offering the ARCs to hopefully get reader feedback on the day of release.
You left such a beautiful, in-depth review for Fireside Fairy Tales that I'm delighted to add you to the ARC team! If you wish to wait and buy a copy on release day before leaving the review that would be much appreciated but certainly not expected!
Hello again, Kate. You wrote earlier that ARCs were due to go out at the weekend. I haven't received one myself. Perhaps because I didn't send you an email address? It's countessbluestocking@gmail.com Thank you!
No worries! No, it hasn't come through. I've checked spam too. I was going to buy a copy anyway, so I got on with that. I'm half way through the first story :)
I'm so sorry about that, Lynden. Thank you for sticking with me as I figure out marketing as an indie author. I've made sure your email is definitely on the list for Fireside Ghosts ❤️

Thank Jennie! I'd be delighted to send you an ARC! Let me know your preferred email with a DM either here or on Instagram :)

What a beautiful book!! Congrats, Kate. I would love to be an ARC reader. I'm so excited to read Fireside Magic.
Do you have plans for a paperback at any point?
Thank you Stephanie! DM me your preferred email here or on Instagram and I'll add you to my ARC list :)
I would like to publish a paperback but at the moment the cost of ISBNs puts me off. Physical copies are definitely part of my future plans though :)
Thank you!

Brill, glad to be part of the team. Looking forward to it shimmering onto my Kindle screen!

Hi Lynden, sorry I am just catching up on comments here! The ARCs went out a little later than planned - did you get yours ok?

You might have received an email with the ARC link, but I've also messaged you on Instagram just in case! Thank you for reading my book 🖤
