You're so welcome. I read your first collection, and am looking forward to Fireside Magic. I love ghost stories, too, so your new book intrigues me as well. Again, best of luck, and thanks for sharing your excellent insights!

I've never heard of January as the wolf month, but that's such a fitting name. I've been thinking a lot about this as a time of hibernation. I don't really ascribe to the New Year's energy, I feel like January is a time to really hunker down and do internal work. The shadow wolves do circle this time, and I find it best to sit with them and hear what they have to say.

I agree, winter is definitely the time for deep internal work so perhaps it's only natural that the shadows are circling at this time, too. For me, the need to hibernate ebbs with the appearance of the snowdrops!

Once again you're inspiring me to start writing a diary again. I feel I have so much to work through and express this month. It's dreary and bitter cold here, and I feel your description of this month as wolf month is so fitting!

I can relate to that feeling, Raquel. Starting anything new is definitely a case of feeling afraid and continuing regardless. Good luck with your offering xx
